Guava

Guava production is considered Fresco’s largest second crop with exports exceeding 35,000 tons. It typically has a round or oval shape, with a smooth, thin skin that can range in color from green to yellow or even pink. Inside, guavas have a juicy, fragrant flesh that can be white, pink, or red, depending on the variety, and is filled with small, edible seeds. The flavor of guava is sweet and aromatic. It’s rich in vitamins A and C, dietary fiber, and antioxidants.
